Mold & Cutter Testimonials Hello just wanted to say I LOVE your cutter!! I was unsure about spending 28.00 on something I really wasn't sure I needed, but I am so happy I did!! My bars look great and it was so easy to do!! Thanks a bunch... Rebecca B.
Just a quick note to let you and Brian know how wonderful his cutter works. I cut my logs the day the cutter arrived, and what a slick operation. WOW! Straight EVEN bars for a change! I love that I can lay the bars on the side and trim a tiny sliver off the top also...thanks so much for taking the time to make something so awesome! Karla
Hi Lezlee, I just wanted to drop a note to tell you how much I have appreciated the wonderful and prompt service I have received from you. I am particularly impressed that you gave me a call so promptly! Thank you for that! I have dealt with *alot* of soaping sites, and your service has been the BEST without a doubt! :) You can bet I'll be highly recommending you to all my soaping friends! And I'll certainly be ordering again!
Kymie
I am the proud owner of 8 of Brian's wooden soap molds (soon to be 10) in various sizes and obviously have been very pleased with my purchases, hence my repeat orders. I have been using mine for a year (in the oven for ITMHP no less!) and they are in as great a shape today as when I first purchased them -- these are obviously built to last! Very well constructed with handy lids w/handles that are perfect fits. The sizes I have fit perfectly in my oven, and delivery has always been very prompt. I'm soon to be an owner of his soap cutter as well -- I can't wait, as I'm sure it will an equally high-quality product! Patty
By far, these are the best wooden molds I have ever used. They use top quality pine (no knotholes, no warping) with rock solid construction, these molds hold up beautifully in the oven. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these molds to any soaper! Sarah
After viewing your Simple Soothings molds in person, I knew these would be perfect for my batch-separating projects. My impression of them was correct - these molds have held up to oven heat, water washes and several different recipes. The quality of the wood has been just as advertised, without flaw and durable. The lid handles are easy to grasp and the dimensions of the molds allow for many bar-option sizes - from slender, all the way up to robust proportions! Sure can't beat the price for something that lasts! ~ Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy fine, caring craftsmanship. Denise
I received the Simple Soothings Soap Cutter as a gift and will never use anything else. It is so easy to use! I especially like the fact that there are no sharp blades. The only thing that gets cut is the soap!! Now I spend less time cutting and shaping bars so I have more time to make soap. Cindi
Tell Brian I also wanted to thank him for donating that wonderful 1# mold I won (at the Nebraska Soap Gathering)...woo wheeee now just got to find the time to make some up! That soap slicer I got from him is absolutely worth its weight in gold. I make all the oatmeal soap in the 3" pvc pipe, and really put alot of fine oatmeal in it...so when I try to slice of chunks, it wants to break all apart...so, I just thought I would try the slicer of his on the round soap...let me tell you, nothing has ever been sliced so nice and neat, with no breaking of the soap! I have been slicing up the oatmeal soap for 2 days now, and wrapping it, and cant wait to use it to cut the castile soap, and the goats milk soap too. He has a winning design there I think! It was worth every penny, and then some. Joan T.
